Pete has provided on-site live commentary on major sporting events including Paris 2024 Paralympic Games and the World Cup Finals, Qatar 2022.  

Commentating for elite partners including FIFA, Olympic Broadcasting Services, Alan March Sport Ltd, UEFA Café Football, FIS Snow Sports, World Athletics, Leicester City Football Club...

Pete has commentated on over 20 sports using his in-depth sporting knowledge and meticulous research for new sports. 

He also specialises in Audio Description Commentary for blind or partially sighted spectators. 

Using his deep and charismatic voice, Pete Selby has provided stadium announcing at both small and large indoor and outdoor sporting events and stadiums. His professional attitude and clear pronunciation has both entertained and informed spectators at an variety of venues across Europe. These include Emirates Stadium,  Arsenal Football Club,

Pete Selby is a current TV presenter for Ladbrokes TV. 

This includes presenting in a studio live to camera, interviewing guests and previewing sporting events including football, horse and greyhound racing.

Being calm under pressure and using his experience, Pete has the ability to respond to producers and directors in-ear instructions instantly in this fast paced and live broadcast environment.  

As a live in venue host, Pete is comfortable presenting  in front of an audience large or small. Using his quick whit and calm demeanour, Pete has interviewed sporting participants before and immediately after competition using his experience to ask the right and appropriate questions for that moment. His clear voice and professional attitude provides the information and entertainment for the viewing spectators in the venue.
